How To See If a Game Will Run Before You Buy it

Ever browse the Steam game store and wonder if a game will run on your gaming rig?  Maybe you meet the minimum but not sure by how much?  There is a really slick way you can test out any game currently available (both on Steam and Origin as well) before you purchase it.  Using the site Can you RUN it they keep a current database of games that are available for purchase right now.  Search for the game you are unsure of, let the site automatically scan your PC for components, and it will give you a good idea of how well it will run, as well as what may be needed to run games better.  In my experience the results are under what your actual might be, so for example if a game just meets the minimum on that site in my experience it will run okay on medium’ish settings.  But in saying that YMMV.  Give it a shot and let us know how it works out!

Mabey if this article reaches out far enough, 50% of game fourms will cut down “Can I run this with a intel 4000 integrated graphics” *sigh*

I have been using this for years. They have a handy desktop app that makes this even easier to use.
